Bruno Mars - Count On Me

Mini Cross Stitch

Ahhhhhh tomorrow is Friday for everyone and it's FLYDAY for me!!! =D Gonna be offline for about a week. Off to elsewhere =P~

Here I am, looking pathetically at my blog archive which is only 4 posts for September and so I got desperate to blog something. Anything. As long there's something. Just to add one more post =.= So I dug up SUPER OLD photos to blog. Something I left out for quite some time already because I was just way too lazy to transfer it from my old Nokia which is now dead. Only until it is dead that I am willing to take out the memory card.

Ok let me start telling story.

In case you haven't know, I love doing cross stitch. I have done 3 cross stitches. Big version. The round rattan type. That's the beginner type. I was so hardworking to do those stitches back when I was in Form1. But haven't do it for er.....10years? I love to stitch and sew with hands. I don't like sewing machine. I don't know how to use it. I hate how I need to paddle with my feet and at the same time turn the wheel. It's like driving a car, except that it doesn't bring you to other place. So no, I don't know how to sew using a sewing machine. I only sew with my hands =D

Last year, yes last year, I know it's a year ago, but at least now I remember it's actually last year. I took out this small cross stitch pack that I got for free from somewhere. I can't remember well but I think it's from the catalogue thing that I used to order. A business girl in school. Haha! Earning every cents from that order =P~

Ok continue, last year I took out this cross stitch pack and brought it to office to stitch it up. I was way too free at office that I can do cross stitch. Want to take over my job?

This is the cross stitch that I stitched. It's tiny. It's seriously hard for me to do it cos the strings are so thin and the net's hole is so tiny that it can only fit a needle. I couldn't remember how long I took to finish this cross stitch. But it was fun! I'm so happy when I finally finished it. Hey! It's beautiful ok!

See how small is the cross stitch and how small are those stitches. My colleagues were saying that if they were the ones to do it, they will be juling already. Hahahahaha~

Oh did I mention it's actually a keychain? Yep I sew both of the stitches back to back and put the chain through the bigger hole on top. I gave the keychain to momma and said the girl is me and the boy is my brother. Hehe =)

Looking at these photos now make me feel like doing more cross stitches. Maybe I should buy one just to ease my itch. Will see how it goes when I do drop by those shops.

Tell me it's nice =P~

Magnum Movie Night 2011

This is a super outdated post. I can't even remember when was the exact date I went for this movie date. It's a movie night fully sponsored by Magnum. They have been doing this event at West Malaysia and it's their first time at East Malaysia. Super hype that they chose Kuching =D Else I wouldn't be able to watch FREE movie. Hehe =P~

The movie that they sponsored to us was Cowboys & Aliens. I love cowboys movies but I hate aliens movies. That's why I never watch Alien vs Predator. What's the thing with aliens anyway. They're gross and yucky and they don't even exist =.=

Movie starring Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford. Nope I want to watch this movie not because of them. I don't think Daniel Craig is handsome and Harrison Ford is way too old for me. I want to watch this movie for the storyline itself =)

I don't know why but I love cowboys. I love their attires, their hats, their boots, their guns, their horses and how they can fight while riding on horses! That's my definition of manly man. Not the clean cut office man who is afraid to go hiking or explore every other parts of the world with me. OUT you go! =D

Some may say that the movie is just so-so only or that cowboys does not come in line with aliens but I think it's a great movie. I like how the director creates the 'home' of the aliens. It's cool eh! But I dislike the ending =( Why they can't be together worhhhhhhhhh *cries*

Ok back to reality. So I was told to collect the tickets at MBO from 7.30pm onwards and first 25 to collect will get Lucky Huat Zai Angpow! Can huat ah? Go early lah!!!

And when I thought I was early =.= I failed because that night Kuchingite turned out to be more punctual than ever. But then again you can never deny one thing: When there's FREE stuff, Kuchingite is as kiasu as everyone else so they will adjust their watch and be there before the said time. WooTz!

Met up with Kendrick. The funny cheerful wacky guy who called everyone up to confirm about our attendance and tickets. Nice fella~

And yes that's the prize of the 4D Jackpot! Don't know how to play the game? It's super easy.

Just buy 2(two) 4Digits numbers at a time, or you can even buy 3 or more at a time, and if the number comes out at 1st and 2nd place, then VOILA there goes your money from the Cai Shen Ye(God of Wealth)!

Yes I'm a gambler =P Not addicted but I do play around once in awhile, that's why I know how to play. Hehehehe

Freebies~~ Who doesn't love freebies please raise your hands and get lost =D Ladies have special offer. They gave us the Ladies Coupon to claim free gifts! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~~ Not plainly claim lah, gotta buy some numbers mah. You think everything is free mehhh!!!

Last but not least, FREE popcorns and drinks! What's a movie without these essentials right?

I want to thank Magnum for giving me the opportunity to attend this Movie Night. Hopefully they will organize more events here at Kuching =)

Daughtry - September

How the time passed away? All the trouble that we gave
And all those days we spent out by the lake
Has it all gone to waste? All the promises we made
One by one they vanish just the same

Of all the things I still remember
Summer's never looked the same
The years go by and time just seems to fly
But the memories remain

In the middle of September we'd still play out in the rain
Nothing to lose but everything to gain
Reflecting now on how things could've been
It was worth it in the end

Now it all seems so clear, there's nothing left to fear
So we made our way by finding what was real
Now the days are so long that summer's moving on
We reach for something that's already gone

Of all the things I still remember
Summer's never looked the same
The years go by and time just seems to fly
But the memories remain

In the middle of September we'd still play out in the rain
Nothing to lose but everything to gain
Reflecting now on how things could've been
It was worth it in the end

We knew we had to leave this town
But we never knew when and we never knew how
We would end up here the way we are
Yeah we knew we had to leave this town
But we never knew when and we never knew how

Of all the things I still remember
Summer's never looked the same
The years go by and time just seems to fly
But the memories remain

In the middle of September we'd still play out in the rain
Nothing to lose but everything to gain
Reflecting now on how things could've been
It was worth it in the end

HTC Wildfire S

I hereby welcome myself to the Green Robot gang!

Last Sunday morning, a date to remember, September 11th. Everyone have their own different memory for that date. Many remember it as the terrorist attack date, while some celebrate birthday and of course, my friend Siaw Wui finally got married on September 11th which is the same day as her birthday. Great choice of date indeed. Easier for the hubby to remember eh? Hehe

As for me, after much consideration and sleepless nights, I decided to get myself a new phone. An Android was my sole aim. I don't want iPhone cos it's way too expensive for me. Seriously I'm broke and very broken now =(

I've surveyed enough and told myself that it's best for me to get it from the centre itself. More sense of security installed. So which model did I get?

I'd mentioned on the earlier post that I'm so in love with Incredible S eh. Yes indeed when I saw the model there, I couldn't resist but to take another look at it. But oh it's so near yet so far cos the price gives me heart attack.

In the end, Wildfire S it is. Though many told me that I could have gotten better phone with that price, but oh well, I'm stubborn. Hehe =)

There, my new Green Robot in black sheep wool =P~ I'm not a fan of pink and I'm tired of getting white cover scratch and dirty so it's safer to get a black.

The salesperson, Liew was so kind to let me choose the cover. I'm a very clumsy person. My phone will get scratches easily. Even my watch got scratched very badly =( So I got myself a thicker cover with more protection. More expensive of course but it's FREE! Hehehehe =D

I'm satisfied with this phone so far. Well I do not use it for much. Only calls, sms and camera. There's lots of extra functions in there which I have yet to explore. I do hope this phone is gonna be with me for long term.

As for my Nokia 5300.......

This is the screen that I get whenever I turn on my phone and then I won't be able to press any button. The screen will forever stay there until I take the battery out by force =.= Sorry Nokia, our relationship had to end. I don't wish for it to but you went malfunction on me.

I'm still sad. Not because I had to spend RM1120 for a new phone although I'm broke-broken but there's so many contacts and precious msg'es left inside my Nokia =( Never will I throw away that phone. All those memories are too precious to be discarded.

Yes I bought my Wildfire S for RM1120. You might think that it's more expensive but I'm ok with the price. Plus it's more expensive cos there's a 2% charge as I was using my bf's credit card. Oh well, my loan shark is a good one. Lent me money without charges. Hehehe =) Thanks b!

Gravity Tour 2011 Tickets

FINALLY the tickets are here!!! I've been waiting for the calls from AMP radio wanting to know will they send the tickets to me or do I have to go to the studio to claim it myself. Finally the wait is over and lala I'm so happy today =D

The arrival of the tickets just made my whole gloomy week became bright shiny sky!

Yes I know I haven't blog about anything lately. Let's just put in point form for easier view.

1st - My CPU was diagnosed with PHD on the first day of Raya. So I had it hospitalized the next day and it's not back yet. Doctor said the damage is bad that I need to change the heart =( A vERy costly operation. But luckily my CPU still can recall back all the memories. No lost memory. Only lost of heartbeat.

2nd - Not such a great holiday I had. Storm came along with thunders and lightnings and then the whole night rain pour. Ugh it's bad and I don't want to mention it again.

3rd - And when I thought my poor CPU is doing well at the hospital, my Nokia decided to dump me =( Nokia refused to wake up after I put it into a deep sleep last Sunday afternoon. So that's how I lost a few contacts and important sms'es got stuck in Nokia's memory. Sigh.....Why oh why oh why~~~

4th - While CPU is still in hospital, I got my laptop from bf just to survive the week away. So while Nokia is in the morgue,  I dug up my old Samsung E360. 2 days using it and was not a problem. Still receiving tweets like usual. Until................my 'coach' called me up all the way from Melbourne on Tuesday night that only I realized my Samsung is not in good condition. It's old already therefore it needs hearing aid. Sigh.....

You tell me lah. How to live my life like this? Doctor called up and said my CPU's operation will cost RM500. And then I'm going to KL this month end plus the Westlife concert getaway some more. How can I not be broke?

Been having dilemma for the past few days cos I don't know what phone should I get. I fell in love with Incredible Hulk S but it's way too expensive for me. Still in midst of dilemma now. Any help? I'm way out of budget right now. So I do not know what phone is suitable for me =(

Anyway, this Sat I'm going to survey around Saberkas. Hopefully to come with a basket full of fruits. Will blog again when my CPU comes home.
