Westlife Gravity Tour 2011 by MixFM

Hello MALAYSIA! Hehehe =D I'm the happiest girl on Earth yesterday! Ok maybe not the happiest but I am happy!!! I was so happy that I smiled the whole day, replay the images in my mind, tell everyone about it and now I'm gonna blog about it! So be ready for my awesomeness!

First of all, I need to say tons and tons of thank you to MixFM for making my wish came true. I wouldn't be so hype if it wasn't for them. It's like I had to wait a decade for this and I wasn't putting much hope but the gift came! It's almost a lifetime opportunity for Kuchingite like m =P~ *macam kahwin je* Ok maybe it is as happy as getting married. Haha! So yes, thank you to the whole MixFM crew and also to the sponsors =D

So what did MixFM do to me that make me hype until today?

None other than giving me 2 FREE TICKETS to watch WESTLIFE LIVE IN BUKIT JALIL!!!!!

YES you heard it right. I AM GOING TO WATCH WESTLIFE'S CONCERT LIVE IN STADIUM BUKIT JALIL!!! What more can you ask for when your childhood fantasies are all becoming a reality right in front of your eyes. Ladies, tell me you do not like Westlife =) And then give me your tickets. Haha!

I was asked by Ryan, the Mix announcer who was on air yesterday, "How much of a big fan are you of Westlife". How to measure my love towards them? Haha! I've been listening to their songs ever since they started. Yes of course they're cute =P~ But they're good at singing too.

Although some may tell me that they're not original because they only sing other people's songs, but who don't? Everyone will take back songs from the 60s', edit a little of the tune, and then sing it out loud. So why judge? =)

Second album: Coast to Coast. Awesome songs like 'My Love', 'I Lay My Love On You', 'Coast to Coast' and many others were produced. Now those are not old songs right? =D

They started with 5 members. Namely Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Brian Mcfadden. Then towards year 2004, Brian decided to quit Westlife because of some personal matters. Then I didn't follow his news anymore. After he left, Westlife went a little quiet for awhile. But they made a came back with their 6th album: Allow Us To Be Frank.

Now they're here in Malaysia with their 11th album tour! The Gravity Tour!!! Awesome!

Now now now....let's get back and be a lil girl. Everyone always choose one member out of the whole group to be their favourite one. So who's mine? =D

It's the charming Nicky Byrne! Let's do a lil profile check-ups.

Fullname: Nicholas Bernard James Adam Byrne
DOB: 9th October 1978 (Libra)
Place of Birth: Baydoyle, Dublin, Ireland (Ok I'm determine to visit Dublin one day)
Previous Job: Footballer, Goalkeeper of Leeds Utd
Favourite Football Team: Manchester United! (Now that could be another reason for me to love ManU)
Favourite Band: Boyzone
Favourite Animals: Dogs and Horses

Need more? Go Google lah! =D

A compilation of their overall 11 albums! I can't wait to meet them on 7th October at Bukit Jalil. The thoughts of being in front of them or rather, them being in front of me is making me smile to myself every minute. I'm already thinking what to wear! =D

Should I bring my poster there? Should I bring the old cassette's cover for them to sign? Should I get a shirt there for them to sign on? Or should I do something else? HELP I'M OVERREACTING!

Alright I better stop staring at Nicky's wallpaper and focus on my bf who is in webcam now. Haha! Maybe I should set my monitor's wallpaper to Westlife's poster. Hmm.....Good idea. Will do that.

To all of you out there who won the tickets through MixFM, hope to see you guys there too! Can't waittttttttttttttttttt!!!!!

Mummy's Birthday 2011

22nd August marks my momma's birthday! So last Sunday, I came up with the idea of baking her a cake since now that I can bake. Hehe =)

Bf came over to help me out with baking. I baked banana cake for mom. Why banana cake? Not because my mom loves it but my brother asked for it. Haha! At least I know someone will help to finish the cake =D Mom does not have the banana cake recipe so I went onto Google. I really have to appreciate Google more now that I can find almost anything on it.

Baking banana cake is as easy as baking butter cake. Almost the same recipe except to reduce on the butter and add in bananas. I even add half teaspoon of banana essence so that the cake smells much yummy!

The cake ready to be put into oven. Baking time was about 50minutes.

The cake fresh from oven. Smells really good!! I love baking because when the aroma comes out from the oven, it will fill your whole house with the sweet taste!

After that, I let it cool off and then started off with my decorations. My own idea. Hehe =) I can be creative you know. Hahaha =P~

Banana cake with melted chocolates and fresh bananas toppings~~ Had to store it in the fridge of course. Was suppose to surprise mom during dinner but she went to the fridge when she got home and found it inside. Hahaha! Next time I'm gonna need a mini fridge in my room! =D

Momma happy with the cake I baked! I mean me and bf baked it together. Hehe =) She still asked me "You baked this??? So pandai???" =) Mom! I've got your baking genes~

And you thought that's all that I gave to my mom? That's only the first gift for the night before her birthday. I have something else hidden to be shown to her on the actual day. Which is.....................................

My LCCI Diploma in Accounting result of course! Tadah! I FINALLY passed all 3 subjects! Not only passed but I passed with DISTINCTION! Beat that! =P~

I got my result 3 days before mom's birthday and it's real hard to keep the happy news from her. Hehehe =) I'm really proud of my own result although I could have gotten full distinction but it's alright. It's over now. Why am I so proud?

I deserved to be proud. I failed few times in my CAT last time and then I decided to quit studies. Until I got hit by the fact that I'm useless without a cert, I saved money and registered myself into Sunway College Kuching. Paid every single cent on my own. Registration fees, school fees and exam fees. Every single expenses on my own! My first two level I managed to pass with distinction too. So tell me why can't I be proud of myself? =)

Kuching Festival 2011

Slurps! I just had the most awesome food ever! The famous fried durian from Kuching Festival this year. My mom actually went there at 4.50pm and waited until 7.30pm til they arrive!!! Love my mama! Hehehe =) Pics will be up in next post.

As for this post, it's one of the awesome moment of my life! My first time capturing fireworks with my Nikon. Yes it's superb! I mesmerized myself with my own photos. Haha!

All this years, I have never gone to Kuching Fest on the first night because I know there's gonna be lots of people there so I'll always wait until the second week then I'll go. Hehehe =) But not this year! I was determined to shoot fireworks which will be displayed on the first night because our CM is gonna be there to launch the fest.

Surprise surprise bf was ok with my idea. So off we went to Kuching Fest on the first night. Parked super far away though we were there quite early. My sole mission was to capture as many shots of fireworks as possible. But I was way too excited days before that I forgot what settings should I use! On immediate, I msg'ed Sifu! Hehehe =D Again, thank you Sifu for your advice!

Here's the stage and few loyal citizens waiting patiently for CM to arrive. Half an hour late =.=''' I'm standing at the limit line. Can't go any nearer to the stage. Another reason to get a zoom lens.

While waiting for CM to finish his speech, I wandered off to snap a few stuff around. This photo is blur but I love the reflection on the water and how the bulbs look much nicer than when it is sharp. =P~ Ada romantic feel mo? Haha!

And the launch starts! First shot was to the Kuching Festival 2011 words. I had a hard time trying to capture the words. It just won't work =( Sifu! How to shoot the words with the fire on?

Ok let's view through my firework shots =) I'm happy! My blog does not do the photos well. They look super awesome on my monitor full screen. Haha!

Red pair.

Bursting red.

Slow reflection.

Awesome burst!

I still have alot more to learn about capturing fireworks. This first time experience is real good. I feel great! Hehehe =) And fyi, I was without tripod. Haha! My knee and elbow were my tripod that night.

Cupcake from Lof Bakery

Yesterday bf surprised me with 2 awesome cupcakes which reminds me of Big Apple Donuts. Why? You look at the decor and tell me that it does not remind you of one of the donut's decor. Hehehe =) He bought these 2 cuppy cakes from the newly opened bakery located at Brighton Square, Jalan Song. It's just right next to Flinders.

Of course I wouldn't know the price cos I'm not the one who bought it. As for the taste, it's just right. Not too sweet and the cake is soft enough. Yummeh!

Thanks b!

3rd Blog Header

YES I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I awesomely edited my own blog header for the very first time! Damnit it feels so good to be able to edit the whole thing!!! I was already giving up and asking for help. But knowing me, I don't give up even after I asked for help. In the end, I did it!

Of course, many thanks to Jim for helping me out. Hehehehe =D He's the only photo editor that I found online at 12 midnight. Hahahaha! Kesian kena dragged into this matter =P

Anyway I'm happy! A great ending for Saturday night and an awesome start for a Sunday~ Good weekend I had didn't I? Hehehe =)

Oh yeah! Photo credits to Edmund. I was thinking who was the one who took that photo until I remembered, who else but the one who had been taking my photos for years? Soul mate is what I call him. Lovely~

My 23 Years Old Toothy

On the first day of Kuching Festival 2011, I went to the dentist that morning to extract my tooth that had been causing me not only headaches and toothaches but also wallet-ache. =.= I'd spent so much on this tooth. Trying my very best to keep it alive. But nothing seems to work well for me.

It's been 23years. I never knew it. Only last year when I went to the dentist, he told me this tooth of mine is still the baby tooth! Surprise surprise! I went home to check on my dental report card, yeap! It's never been extracted before! I remember I used to like it when the dentists visit our school. First cos I get to have FREE dental checkups. Second cos dentist always said my teeth are good! Hehehehe =) Proud user of Colgate! Haha!

Anyway, it's been 23years. Tons of stuff must have happened to the tooth without me knowing it. The side started to crack and then the hole became bigger and bigger. Sob.....

It hurts when I eat, it hurts when I brush my teeth, it hurts even more when I finally decided to extract it. Sorry am being a lil too emotional here.

So here goes, bye bye toothy! You'd served me well for 23years! I asked the dentist for my tooth back. Hehehe =) Ada kam cheng marh!! Now I'm still thinking whether or not should I throw it away. Hmm......

Random Updates 08-08-2011

Hi! I'm still alive!

I know I've abandoned my blog for weeks now. I'm just way too lazy to take picture of stuff and then transfer into pc. The thoughts of needing to choose the perfect photos from the hundreds I've taken at Kuching Festival this year, is so tiring. Then the editing session is needed. Oh my laziness is killing me!

So much had happened in my life lately. Stories which I can't put them into words here. Hmm....How to do a locked post? I need to speak out but I can only tweet. Nowadays tweeting doesn't really give me that much freedom anymore. When I have nowhere to brag, I'll just die a little bit more inside of me.

I have 3 pending posts to do but without photos, my posts will be just another random post. So I shall wait until the day when I feel hardworking again.

By the way, have any of you been to Kuching Fest? I heard the fried durian this year is the must-buys. I saw people queuing for it the other night but I didn't queue. The following night when I went back, at 8pm, the fried durian is sold out =.=''' I think I'll find a day to go there right after work just to buy it. Wonder how good it tastes. I still love the durian puff from last year. Glad that it's still available this year. Bought it everytime I went =P Been there for 3 times already. Enough of Taiwan sausages for me.

Also, it's the Ramadhan month. How are you all doing? I always love the Ramadhan bazaar. So many things to see and buy. I'd missed it 4years already. When I was working at ING, I went there almost everyday during lunch hour. Awesome food they've got there. But now that my workplace is far south, I haven't have the time to visit any of the bazaar. But this weekend, bf is bringing me to one of the Ramadhan buffet. Hopefully the food there is as nice as those at the bazaar =)

Anyway, gotta go before I got slammed at the face for bragging. Til we meet again~
